| Cantonese Adult Fellowship |
|
The Cantonese Adult Fellowship currently has about thirty members.
We meet every other Friday at 7:30 PM. In the summer when most of the students
are not in town, we usually meet at the church.
During the rest of the year, most of those members with a large enough home
take turns in hosting the biweekly meetings.
As the name of our fellowship implies, we are a group of adults, and we speak Cantonese. Actually, the truth is that some of us can barely manage the dialect. Then again, most of us speak one or more of the other Chinese dialects, English and probably other languages as well. The adult part may also be a misnomer, as the other Cantonese-speaking fellowship group at DCCC is the Cantonese College Fellowship. But more to the point, we do have members with small children who tag along with their folks in our meetings. By getting together regularly, our members keep up with one another's life, share our triumphs and trials, and encourage each other in our daily walk with the Lord. Typically, we will start the evening's program with the singing of songs. The main part of the program could be sharing by one individual member, in which he or she will talk about a topic of his or her choosing; or it could be open sharing by all members present. It may also be Bible study. In the past, we have done topical, passage and character (people) studies. When the main program concludes, we will break up for refreshments and fellowship. So, all of you who need to brush up on your Cantonese or wish to see other people trying to do it, and don't feel quite up to staying up all night with the college types, we welcome you to join us and promise not to keep you past your bedtime. |

| English Adult Fellowship |
| Currently the English Adult Fellowship group consists of 8 to 10 members meet weekly for the purpose of worship, prayer, and Bible study. We usually set aside one meeting a month for special topics and for sharing. The attendees ranges from young adult to retirees. We welcome fellowship of all ages. |

| Mandarin Adult Fellowship |
|
The members of this fellowship are mandarin speaking adults. Currently the age range spans
from forties to eighties. Of course, any younger or elder persons are welcome to join us.
We meet every Wednesdays (except holidays), from 7:30 p.m., to 9:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at 536 Anderson Road, Davis, CA. Every three months we have a new program. Generally, the program consists of Bible studies, sharing, and special topics, which are mostly led by members within our fellowship. Oftentimes we invite outside speakers. Our meeting begins with thirty minutes singing followed by thirty minutes speaker's presentation and concluded with thirty minutes discussion, on what has been presented. Once a month we celebrate member's birthday with tea and cake, for those whose birth days falls in that month, and once every three months we have a potluck dinner at the church. We try to practice what we learned from the Lord's teaching in the Bible and from our meetings and fellowship among one another. |

| Mandarin Fellowship |
| The Mandarin Fellowship is currently composed of Mandarin speaking families, graduate students, and young to mid-age professionals. Our main goal is to know Jesus Christ better, to experience God, and to walk his way through learning God’s Words together, interceding for one another, and sharing Jesus’ love with one another. We meet every Friday night at one of the families’ residence and the meeting begins with singing praises, followed by praying in small groups and Bible study. We welcome anyone who is interested in knowing God and can speak Mandarin to come and join us. |
