Bible Bucks
The Bible Bucks program was started to motivate children toward active participation in worship and Sunday school activities. Children are rewarded with Bible Bucks when they participate in specific activities such as worship and Sunday school, memorizing scripture, meaningful journal entries, etc. Children are able to use their Bible Bucks to purchase items in the Bible Buck store which include items like snacks and toys.
Starting in 2021, the Bible Bucks store also included items that children can “purchase” that would be gifts donated to various charities locally and around the world. Most of these groups are faith-based organizations with a commitment to meeting the people’s spiritual as well as physical needs.
In 2023, Children’s Ministry committed to sponsoring a child through Compassion International. We hope this opportunity will give our children the chance to write to and receive letters from the child we are sponsoring. The children’s donation of Bible Bucks will fund this project. We also hope to help our children develop generosity and compassion for those in need.
